Postfix Connection Timed out

Newtonx asked:

I used the tutorial below to setup postfix and dovecot on a Digital Ocean server. But I’m getting “Connection Timed out” when postfix/smtp tries to deliver an email to a remote host like gmail or yahoo..

Here is /etc/postfix/main.cf

/etc/postfix/master.cf

Result from #> netstat -nlptu

My answer:

Outgoing SMTP on port 25 is blocked by default for all Digital Ocean users. You’ll need to contact them if you want it unblocked.
