Hey thanks for the tip it worked a treat. Not that I'd ever patronise a site that was only compliant with the browser born to the cripple and the village idiot but it's a good proof-of-concept and works like a charm.

I've tried the user agent switcher in Safari v4.0.x to do the same thing since I installed it (including at beta stage as Hotmail isn't IE only but won't work on browsers in beta) but with no success. I do find Safari a faster browser and on OS X 10.5.8 it's the only 64-bit application I run so it's good to use, but good on you Mozilla, and chrispederick, for your awesome work.

Unfortunately Ubuntu (think also Fedora) adopted an annoying windows behavior here.
When your printer is switched off but there are some jobs in the queue, ubuntu permanently bugs you with a "printer not connected or powered off" message. EVEN when you print via local spool files like in the DARK AGES.
It's windows thinking to assume you want your printed paper exactly at the time you print (and then bug you with annoying popups).

Vista is a domineering monster, Xp is slightly better.

You need to develop a Vsta accountable GRUB multi-boot.

I am looking at the Open src code for this and it indicates

a total isolation of the linux partition designed to fool the

windows installation. A pre-cognitive Vista Bootloader.

!OR! Make the linux or Unx boot a Vista Slave(2). So far,

#2 is just not an option to date.

Hi there,

You mentioned that if you wanted to store a key on external media e.g. a USB stick, instead of using a passphrase, this can be set up after first boot.

What steps would be required to achieve this?

Thanks

nginx and php-fpm are truly the best in my book. and i've tried -a lot-

the lack of .htaccess kinda sucks for allowing customers to create their own password protected directories. but lighty has that same issue too.

and nginx has a proper apache-compliant mod_rewrite file exists check, where lighty doesn't and won't ("use mod_magnet!")
